At HGL, sustainability is becoming more integrated into how we invest and steward our businesses. We believe that doing well and doing good are intertwined; therefore, successful businesses must prioritise both financial performance and societal impact.

APPROACH

Sustainability guides our decision-making processes and policies.

HGL is embedding measurable ESG standards into investment analysis, ownership practices, and reporting mechanisms across our portfolio.

We hold significant interests across the oil and gas value chain through Mekoris Energy, HOGL Energy, Rosetti Pivot, Broadview Engineering, and Pivot GIS. We view the responsible operation of these assets, alongside selective investment in adjacent sectors and emerging mineral resources, as part of a measured contribution to Nigeria's energy mix and longer-term industrial transition.

Diversity is an important part of our institutional strength. Inclusive succession structures and balanced perspectives are embedded in how we govern and invest, with women representing 55% of HGL’s leadership.
